PZ Myers at Pharyngula has written a bit about these. The website says "Using state-of-the-art visual effects, computer graphics and real-time, moving 4-D ultrasound imagery..." but as Myers points out, it's hard to tell where the computer graphics ends and the real-time imagery begins.
I think it's still cool, but his point about the goopiness of membranes is well taken.
