Note on the Star Wars movie

Think carefully before you take kids, especially sensitive ones.

This isn't really a spoiler, but Anakin kills some children. (Memo to George Lucas: OK! He's evil! We get it!) You don't see him do it, but you do see their bodies and it is discussed multiple times. I think a way bigger point of it is made than had to be and it would have freaked me out big time if I had seen it as a child.

I have much more to say about other aspects of the movie, and will likely say it in the morning.

I just took my kids to see this movie last night ... nothing too bad in it at all. My kids had no idea what happened in the Jedi Temple with Anakin and the Younglings ... it was a very subtle insinuation. The movie earned a PG13 rating ... so I really don't see what all the fuss is about.

T.V. programming has worse stuff in it than this - see C.S.I., Law and Order, etc.

But when you see their bodies and everybody keeps talking about the fact that he killed them I thought was a bit over the top in making the point.

Anybody who saw the scene where the kids walk up to him and he pulls out his lightsaber and the scene cuts away and didn't undestand what was about to happen probably didn't need it explained.

But I was a *really* sensitive little kid, so perhaps I'm overstating my case here.
