Smile.

One of my favorite things about the holiday season is secret santas and white elephant swaps. I don't know why, but finding silly little stuff for people with whom I might not normally exchange gifts makes me happy.

So here's a question for you. As someone who enjoys such things, would you have appreciation for (if not gratitude, which would be too much to expect) my re-gifting. at this year's family yankee swap, the ginormous Job Lot blue cookie jar with a silver rooster screwtop that I got stuck with at last year's family yankee swap? We'll make improvements, of course, this year when we put it in the swap we'll fill it with bird seed.

and a gift card.

My two favorite Yankee swap gifts I have ever given are:

1. A nightlight haped like an Amish guy. (He was holding a Christmas tree bulb.)

2. A six inch plaster nust of Prince Philip, husband of Queen Victoria.

So yes, I would think your gift is awesome.

That's "shaped" and "bust."

Sigh.

An Amish night light! It might even replace my Jesus and Mary Night lights.

but probably not.
