I never thought about them being blood related. I guess it's possible. But I know I'd feel weird if I found out that the family of one of my coworkers had owned one of my ancestors. Especially if that coworker was a ridiculous racist (or maybe that would make sense?). I don't know.

You mean, assuming that Sharpton's great-grandmother had sex with a member of Thurmond's family that resulted in Sharpton's grandfather?
