What is the legal age of consent in his state? I think $1000 is quite low for a virgin bride. Shouldn't it be about ten times that? Or maybe a hundred times that? The money to be put in her name in an interest-bearing account in case he mistreats her and she has to leave? Sortof marriage insurance? Maybe another $100,000 put in the account for each kid she has. If he wants a commodity, he should pay for it -- a lot. (ironic)
