Mary and Joseph kicked out of Target with their baby.
I wouldn't normally bother to write about a woman illegally getting kicked out of a business for breastfeeding, but when the couple is named Mary and Jose and it's Christmas time, it becomes so bloggable.
Shouldn't that close with something about "becomes a target"?
Complete corporate failure, from start to finish. Certainly, at some point in that process... someone should have stopped it, or gone back, slapped a few wrists, made an apology to the parents. This will cost Target. Dumb.
Some Target staff should be getting coal in their stockings this Christmas. Oh - and they're not going to heaven, either! How ridiculous. When are they going to start teaching non violent conflict resolution in K-12?
"Oh ma'am, Excuse me... Would you like to use one of our changing rooms for a bit of extra privacy? Let me find you a comfy chair so you can rest... oh, what a cute baby!!"
I'd have gone for the nice-n-helpful route...
The comments on it are rather interesting... There seems to be a massive war going on... then again, Janet Jackson's nipple was enough to drive a nation into apoplexy so I guess I shouldn't be surprised...
It's amazing how many folk are commenting over there. There's over 150 pages of comments. with people arguing that Breastfeeding should be done in the potty and stuff like that. It blows me away what an absurdly conservative country I live in. I see why she did it. I'm sure the baby was hungry.

Extra fail points for security guy trying to tell a *cop* that breast feeding is somehow against the law.

Perhaps this is part of the "War on Christmas"?
