All the talk about conventions just reminded me. TheCSO, Jana-who-Creates and I are likely coming to Boston for ROFLcon on April 24 and 25. I don't know how much time I will spend at the Con as I will be studying a lot, but I'd really like to hang out with some of my Boston friends.

oddly, CC. that's right when I'll be in Boston, but at a retreat. maybe we can work something out
Where are you going to stay?
Dunno. My favorite place to stay is the Hampton Inn as they have free wifi and breakfast that ranges from "mediocre" to "pretty good" depending on the location.
There's one in Cambridge, but I haven't bothered to figure out exactly how close it is.
Any suggestions?

Hey CC, I'd love to meet you in person. Please send an e-mail if you want to get together for coffee sometime during your stay. Also, I can recommend several bed and breakfasts in Cambridge. Two that come to mind are Irving House and the Isaac Harding House. We haven't stayed at them, but guests for our wedding a few years ago did, and it seemed to work out well.
Isn't there a UUA Board of Trustees meeting at about the same time CC? Maybe I will make an extra effort to get down to Boston myself. I had hoped to do so for the last UUA Board meeting but tight finances caused me to postpone my next protest in front of 25 Beacon Street and/or wherever the UUA Board of Trustees meeting will be held. Maybe its just as well. Wh knows? Maybe I will have some UU allies in April.
