This is my new favorite Cosmo quiz

though I'm kind of embarrassed at my own results.

Let's just say that the leadership style attributed to Sarah Palin doesn't match at all the impressions I have of her from the media accounts of how she works.

Let's just say that this Alaskan is horrified by her results on this quiz...

Does that mean their analysis is wrong, or the media accounts are wrong?

The linking of a collection of attributes and the people to whom they're connected seems to me a bit of a black box, so I don't know on what basis the creators of this quiz attributed the particular collection of attributes that were tied to Palin. Absent that kind of transparency, I'm more inclined to believe the media accounts I've seen.

If it helps, I got "Oprah." I just thought it was need that this sort of quiz usually has "Oh no! You made two dates for the same night!"-type situations and in this one you got to be the president.

I liked the quiz, but I also got Sarah and was horrified. I think they forgot to look at her actual gubernatorial record.

I got Oprah too. It seems to be the result of steering a middle course between "the group always knows best" and "I always know best."

Re: Palin, I think she really was oriented toward group decision-making as a governor. She sounds extremely sane and reasonable in this set of responses to the Alaska NEA (many of which -- no school vouchers? defending defined-benefit pension obligations to unionized workers?) she'll no doubt repudiate in any future run for a Republican nomination. I'm increasingly inclined to think Palin was once a normal person who's been driven mad by sudden exposure to the national spotlight.
