This is one place where Sarah could undoubtedly have helped him out--it's something she got training in, years ago; what to do and not do with your face and body when you're on camera.
(Yes, when you see it all play out on film, seeing what happened, it's... understandable. That it's understandable doesn't make it a gross visual gaffe. Rule #1: Don't Do The Stupid Thing.)
It was on TV... and it doesn't look presidential. Dope slap.
I actually love it, because McCain looks *just* like Calvin from Calvin & Hobbes when he's trying to be a monster and scare his mom. So it just endeared McCain to me a little bit.
Now I'll go back to being a nervous wreck about the coming election.
