If it's wrong to love this poster, I don't want to be right.

That doesn't make any sense, does it?

:-) It makes no sense literally, but I assume they mean the terms in the emotional and cultural sense: spouses are boring old married folks, newlyweds are fresh and exciting and having lots of sex.

An ad writer somewhere got a paycheck they shouldn't have.

I like slightly geeky looking middle aged people in love.

Also, having been with theCSO for 8+ years at this point, I sympathize with the ad in that having a spouse who has become a member of your family, who is a given in your life, around whom you are completely secure, is very awesome.

But back when the reationship is new, when you strategically choose your underwear and are very focused on pleasing each other, is awesome, too.

When you have awesome 1, you remember the insecurities and unpleasantness of awesome 2, but you also remember the excitement and sometimes make efforts to recapture it.

It kind of looks like they're arm wrestling, but that's l'amour, I guess!
