The "answer guy" assumes that people coming to the website are regular visitors and will continue to be. If I was visiting, looking for a chuch, I wouldn't like that.
Elizabeth - CC linked directly to Hans' guided tour, not to the default home page. Of course without any "bread crumbs" or highlighted menu items there is no way to know that you are not on the main page. yet another design flaw for the site.

A big part of the problem is that Hans quite obviously doesn't know what to do with his hands.
My favorite are the breast-shaped motions he keeps making on his chest.
