that non-cancer-stricken people should avoid smoking pot because it makes them annoying to be around on several levels, not because it is physically all that bad for them.
I think Michael Phelps is as good a bit of evidence as we're going to get for the second part of that opinion.

You know, Robin, there's a line between teasing people and pointlessly insulting them. I've crossed it by accident a few times myself, but I try to keep that to a minimum and I wish you would too.

I wasn't being pointless in my poking a bit of fun at Joel CC. Joel Monka *is* annoying to be around on several levels and he may well be a pot smoker judging from his poor short term memory, to say nothing of his apparent paranoia at times. Come to think of it excess consumption of marijuana may well explain some of the very real paranoia that I have encountered amongst U*Us. . .
Why not put accusations about that in the thread where they happened rather than putting them here?
I have various good reasons CC but one of them is simply that if you can present Michael Phelps as being as good a bit of evidence as U*Us are going to get for the second part of your opinion, I see no particular reason why I cannot present suspected U*U dope smoker, to say nothing of definite U*U dope, Joel Monka as a *possible* candidate for evidence U*Us are going to get for the first part of your opinion. . .

Ummm... Micheal Phelps has confessed to smoking pot.
If your idea of a reasonable response to your disagreements with Joel is to start accusing him of illegal activity, I think you should take that someplace else.

I have not been following this story, but is there any evidence that he smoked pot during training? One photo doesn't mean he's a pothead.
