Only if you want your Christmas tree to look like the "Crystalline Entity" being from Star Trek: The Next Generation." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crystalline_Entity
This is going to be the first Christmas I have in a place I own (well, co-own) so I am determined to get a tiny real tree for it, because my family always has had fake trees.
Not against fake trees on principle, but that doesn't even look like a tree to me. It looks like a giant feather duster that doesn't dust very well. But if you like it, you should go for it!

Looks pretty cool to me.
I am really torn on this... I don't like artificial plants, but this tree, taken as an artform in its own right, is beautiful.
Nope. It's just as cheesy and fake as the original, just a lot more expensive.

Only if you put this on top.
We had one of those when I was a kid -- briefly. My parents decided the real ones were really nicer.

I laughed when I saw this, because this is like the ultimate anti-hippie tree. So you would find it awesome indeed.
I'm going to go with the hafidha sofia thought of it looking like a feather duster.....
