So CC was making calls at work and surfed the net as she talked. She checked out the UU Kinja and saw a post at Wildhunt about an Indianapolis Star article about a Judge declaring two parents couldn't raise their kid Wiccan.
So she sent a tip in to Wonkette. Now it's on Wonkette so the whole net is going to hear about it.
Ain't technology grand?
CC
Sort of proud that her first tip ever in to Wonkette got used. Not that she was credited, but still...

Thanks for doing that! That is really awesome that such a high-profile blog is running the story.
There's the lesson: don't feed (or read) the A-list bloggers.
Hey, I'm fond of Wonkette.

Well, Hubby and I met Wonkette in person. (Makes nya, nya sounds.) I just perfer niche blogs, and those who write them.
I'm down on meeting cool people because I met Gloria Steinem in person and she sort of sucked.
My theoretical Wonkette is very cool, though.
Admittedly, Wonkette's take was snide, but I think this one will be just a matter of getting the word out and Wonkette is good at that.
Besides, in my line of work, Wonkette IS my niche.

I liked the headline Wonkette came up with:
"Activist Judge Won't Let Parents Teach Religion"
BTW, Wonkette's take on just about everything is snide. She (actually he, cuz I think the substitute Wonkette Greg Beato was the one who posted it) wasn't singling this out for an extraordinary dose of sarcasm.
How f&*^%$#@ assinine. But with a president who doesn't think wicca is a religion, what can we expect?
I lament the death of Liberty.
