How Michelle Obama is an inspiration to women all over the world. I will confess I had not considered the significance that her both having dark skin and raising two girls would have in other parts of the world.

    A huge impact.

    As does her husband of course.

    I worked for the Army in the early 80s in Germany and would talk to Germans of age about their experiences during the war.

    They could always tell you the first AA soldier they met. This would be unprompted.

    They just would start talking about him because they had never seen Africans before then.
