The Peacemaking SAI was adopted.

  1. CC, I remember reading a while back that you were not pro becoming a peace church. But the resolution seems like it is just asking us to think about violence and non-violence and peacemaking. Is your fear that 1) we might actually decide to become a peace church (I really can't imagine this happenening) or 2) that the very topic will just polarize people? Or none of the above? Maybe I should go back and read your posts. But this is just talking about it, right? Can it be so bad? Maybe I'm naive. It has been known to happen.

  2. U*Us obstinately refuse to seek peace in internal conflicts within their own denomination and even actively "make war" with various groups and individuals yet they expect to tell the world how to seek peace? ROTFLMU*UO

Why is it that so many U*Us seem to believe that hypocrisy is the best policy. . .

Because of a recent ton of spam and weird insulting comments from a brand-new poster, I'm putting in comment moderation for a bit. I'm planning to do comment moderation "Ms. Kitty Style," as in, with a very light touch and kicking only off-topic and unreasonably insulting posts.
