Many family courts appear to be VERY reluctant to cut a child off from either parent, even if there is clear evidence of abuse.. and especially with her not alleging that the KID was abused.

This does sound like "take what you can get", possibly with a side of brinkmanship by attempting to get sole custody in the first place. I still think it's kinda skeezy, but for a different reason.TheCSOhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13158667972488862686noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9864334.post-67517405717813153772007-03-13T22:39:00.000-04:002007-03-13T22:39:00.000-04:00It's possible, I guess, but her claims are pretty ...It's possible, I guess, but her claims are pretty extreme.

I mean, if he'd stabbed her, wouldn't there be a hospital report, a scar or both?

CCChalicechickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07781469958573869914noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9864334.post-9479261291583868142007-03-13T22:35:00.000-04:002007-03-13T22:35:00.000-04:00There's always choice C: She was abused, but her l...There's always choice C: She was abused, but her lawyers told her that there was no chance she would be able to win sole custody given the available evidence.
