For one thing, the term "McMansion" is generally applied to large houses that occupy most of a normal-sized lot, leaving very little green space. This lot maximizes indoors and minimizes outdoors. There must be a narrow market for such places, especially one shoehorned into a neighborhood of older conventional homes.<br /><br />Oh, and construction on this house started at least three years ago!
